Jakki Dehn

Jakki DehnJakki is currently a Reader at Kingston University, teaching Product and Furniture Design. In 1994 she instigated an international research programme, investigating from a design perspective, the aesthetic, economic and manufacturing potential of waste materials.

Jakki runs the sustainable materials library ‘Rematerialise’ at Kingston University. It contains over 1,200 material samples from 22 countries and has initiated considerable interest from designers, educators, researchers and industry, leading to major collaborations between product design students and companies.
